Alpha Drive Diamond has been developed to resolve many problems related to the subfloor’s planning (i.e. roughening ceramic, porcelain tiles, marble and granite flooring) prior to the wood flooring installation.

The 4 diamond tools, with 9 high efficiency diamond inserts each, can “concentrate” all the power on a narrow surface and, with wide-set tools, quickly expel the scrap.

The Diamond tools are mechanically secured to the disc, allowing a quick and easy replacement.

Alpha Drive Diamond is equipped with a safety central disc that prevents diamond tools to break through the subfloor

Alpha Drive is a highly handy, functional and solid disc.

I normally use Alpha Drive with the specific accessory when I need to recover the optimal conditions to install new flooring

I’m often requested to install a wooden floor on a pre-existing ceramic, porcelain tiles, granite or marble floor.

In these circumstances, it is necessary to proceed with a surface roughening to ensure the right porosity and the highest possible usable area to the new glue to stick on.

Alpha Drive Diamond, with its coarse-grained diamond insert, can scratch even the hardest ceramics, smoothening the surface completely.

The use of Alpha Drive Diamond, to roughen the surface, allows me to verify if the tiles are correctly placed on the subfloor.

The machinery movement and weight allow me to test for hollowness and check for the high-pitched sound or the hollow sound coming from the wrong placement of tiles, that need replacement.

Before installing the new flooring, I suggest you to run a hygrometric test to check the planarity, porosity, cleanness and adequacy of the tiles subfloor.
